Michael Sharkey - Managing Director
Mike began his career as an apprentice and has 35 years worth of experience in the industry. He has progressed through site management, contract management and head of operations, including Directorship of SME and regional companies. Mike has worked within all aspects of construction including design and build, refurbishments, fit-outs, maintenance, frameworks, and two-stage tendered projects.
Throughout his successful career, Mike has learnt that you should 'Work smarter not harder". He has gained several professional qualifications including ONC in construction, HNC in construction, HND in construction and CIOB Accreditation. Mike highlights that during his career he was the head of operations who successfully completed the Coronation Street extension, working alongside the programme directors to construct the new iconic set.
Within his home life, Mike enjoys running, watching rugby league and reading. He loves spending quality time with his wife Mary and daughter Rhian, who is currently studying at John Rigby excelling in graphic design.
Andy Coley - Operations Director
Andy has 20 years of experience in the construction industry, and began his career as a quantity surveyor. Following this he then combined roles as an estimator and project manager before moving up to contracts management. Andy has gained experience in Main Contractor, Subcontractor and SME size businesses.
Whilst he has worked on various types of construction such as; design and build, refurbishments, fit outs and two-stage tendered projects. Andy strongly believes that team work makes the dream work. His professional qualifications include BSC in Quantity Surveying, SMSTS and ILM Level 3.
Outside of work Andy enjoys Triathlon, cycling and spending time outdoors with the family. He lives with his wife, two children and two dogs.
Damian Charnock - Contracts Manager
Damian has worked in the construction industry from leaving school, allowing him 24 years experience. He has developed in several roles including working foreman, site manager and finally contracts manager.
Damian's strengths lie in small works, refurbishment and maintenance and he has a strong eye for detail. Damian believes that to succeed in projects there is never a problem, only a solution found. During his professional career he has achieved HNC in construction and SMSTS. One of his career highlights to date is the refurbishment of the bespoke Coops building.
In his free time, Damian has several hobbies and especially enjoys playing and watching rugby league. He relishes in quality family time with his wife Zoe and two beautiful children; Conor and Megan.
Warren Druggitt - Contracts Manager
Warren 21 years in the industry, the first 15 years as a senior architectural technician working on technical design and construction management working across all sectors from healthcare to residential. During this time, he experienced working client side in the design, procurement & construction of projects and realised his working motto that proper preparation prevents poor performance. More recently he has worked for large main contractors and also sub-contractors in the delivery of mid to large scale new build construction & high end fit out projects ranging in values between £50k & £8m.
He has achieved his ONC & HNC in Construction Technology, SMSTS, 1st Aid, Temporary Works Co-Ordinator – and is working towards membership to the CIOB.
Outside of work he enjoys coaching & playing Rugby League, cycling, spending time with family & friends. Warren has a wife to be Sheree, 3 daughters & 1 son.
Darran Wilde – Contracts Manager
Darran has worked in the construction industry for 37 years starting as an apprentice in joinery. After starting his managerial career in his mid-twenties as a site foreman, then working his way up to senior contracts manager gaining a wide knowledge of all aspects of the construction industry. Darran has an HNC in building studies and IOSH managing safely. Having recently completed a 1.6 million Design and build project in Birmingham and a 1.5 million new build school in Sheffield. He believes that teamwork is the best way to achieve success.
Outside of work Darran loves to watch rugby and go on long walks. He also enjoys spending time with his 4 daughters and 2 dogs.
Scott Houghton - Contracts Manager
Scott has over 33 years experience in the Construction industry, where he started his journey as an apprentice plasterer. Prior to Greenmount he has worked as an external rendering applicator, construction tutor, business owner and a freelance contracts manager.
Scotts experience consists of managing various schemes as the principal contractor within the areas of retail, commercial, fit out, the education sector, health care, high street stores & industrial for many blue chip, plc & national chains - some of these projects ranging up to the value of 2 Million pounds.
As a Project/Contract Manager he has a deep understanding of Health & Safety, enviromental and quality compliance within the workplace and works hard to make sure it is maintained on each project he delivers as well as ensuring new working relationships with all clients and contractors are sustained.
Scotts hobbies include fishing and spending time with his wife, Joanne and their four children.
Mark Kinsey - Electrical Contracts Manager
Mark has 36 years in the electrical industry and has worked across various aspects of Electrical Engineering. Mark is a hard-working individual and has been developed extensively in his profession, and works by the motto 'Get it done'. During his professional career, Mark has accomplished many projects and become a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
Outside of work Mark loves to watch rugby and go on long walks. He also enjoys travelling with his wife and two children.
Dan Ryding - Commercial Manager
Dan has 10 years work expierence within the construction industry and has been an integral part of a commercial department since starting out as a Junior Quantity Surveyor. Dan has worked his way through the ranks within the commercial team and has excelled within his studies achieveing a Level 3 Diploma, HNC and a 2/1 BSc Hons Degree in Quantity Surveying.
He has expierence in a multitude of sectors such as Retail, Leisure, Education, Healthcare, Heritage, Banking and Local Government. He has worked on JCT, NEC and framework contracts on both traditional and design & build procurement routes. His experience has taught him that the difference between try and triumph is just a little umph.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys playing rugby league, mountain biking and socialising with friends. As well as hobbies he enjoys spending time with his and his girlfriend Emma's family
Jack Unsworth – Quantity Surveyor
At just 16 years old, Jack began his career as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, maturing his skills working with both JTC and NEC, alongside the commercial and operation team. After completing a L3 Diploma and a HNC in Construction, Jack achieved a BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying at Liverpool John Moore's University. Living by his motto 'there are no shortcuts to any place that is worth going,' Jack now has 7 years experience in Quantity Surveying, working on a vast variety of projects from interior fit out to construction of new builds. Some of the clients from these projects spread across many sectors including healthcare, education, retail, multinational defence and many blue chip companies.
Outside of work Jack enjoys socialising with his family, friends and girlfriend, either by travelling abroad or exploring new areas on long walks. In addition to socialising Jack also enjoys different sports, he is an avid golf player and a Manchester United season ticket holder.
Jayne Boothe - Procurement Manager
Jayne has over 25years experience in the buying field, 5 of which are in construction.
She lives by her motto which is 'Fail to prepare - prepare to fail.'
Outisde of work Jayne enjoys watching many types of sports, especially Rugby League and athletics. She also enjoys running and going for long walks with her family and friends.
Jayne and her husband Colbert are very proud of their two children, both of which are currently studying at university.
Elisa Dickinson - Finance Manager
Elisa has 14 years construction industry with 12 years in accounts. Elisa is a perfectionist who cares deeply about her role and the company. Throughout her career, Elisa has developed both professionally and personally and she prides herself on her ability to ensure the smooth and consistent running of the accounts.
During her spare time, Elisa enjoys exercise such as going to the gym, boxing and being part of her local netball league. In addition to this, she is a social butterfly and always makes time for friends and family.
Elisa's world is her beautiful daughter Avea-Lee who is about to start school and is a developing gymnast.
Olivia McEvoy - Finance Assistant
Olivia is a highly driven and ambitious member of our Accounts team, who has spent a number of years working in accounts within the Construction Industry. She is due to finish her Level 4 AAT (association of Accounting Technicians) qualification at the end of 2021 and will then work towards her chartership in the years to come.
Olivia's motto is 'There are no secrets to success. It is a result of preperation, hardwork and learning from failure.'
She likes to explore new adventures and aims to visit many new places with her boyfriend Luke. Olivia also enjoys socialising with friends and family, in which she has a very close relationship with.
Molly Durkin - Head of Design
Molly is a passionate designer with a friendly and engaging personality that earns her the trust and respect of clients. After gaining experience in Singapore, London and Manchester, Molly is now closer to home and very happy in her current position at Greenmount Projects.
During her past experience, Molly has developed strong communication skills with both clients and colleagues. Being adaptable, flexible and enthusiastic, Molly always does the upmost to exceed expectations placed upon her.
Molly enjoys socialising with friends, trying adventurous food and exploring exciting places with her partner Henry and they can’t wait to get their very own Cocker Spaniel.
Frankie is a creative and enthusiastic designer who loves what she does. Prior to joining Greenmount, she worked for two years at a bespoke home furniture company, after graduating from the University of Salford with a BA Hons in Interior Design. Whilst at university she also did multiple summer placements at various interior design studios throughout Manchester City Centre.
Frankie has also spent a summer participating in the Camp America programme, where she spent 3 months as an art teacher and a lifeguard in New York. She loves to travel and experience new adventures. She and her partner Adam currently live in Worsley, where they enjoy going for long walks, as well as drawing and baking in their spare time.
Leanne Westcott – Office Manager
Leanne was previously an Office Manager at a furniture company in Manchester City Centre and prior to this, she was the Office and Building manager at a large law firm in Bolton for 7 years. With over 14 year’s experience in management in different sectors, she decided to make the move to join Greenmount.
During her career Leanne has developed both personally and professionally. She has been on an extensive HR course as well as completing Level 2 & 3 NVQ Business Admin.
Leanne enjoys spending time with her son Connor, partner Ben, family, and friends. She and her future husband get married in November 2020.
Becki Wolfendale - Operations Administrator
Becki is a passionate worker who has an eagerness to learn, this has helped her gain computer knowledge and a wide spread of qualifications in different areas. After 3 years in the textile industry Becki is looking forward to learning the commercial side of the Construction field.
In her spare time Becki enjoys being creative and sewing clothes, exploring new areas on long walks with her boyfriend John and their pet dog. She also enjoys expanding her DIY skills and has recently completed a Plastering course to help with the rebuild of her house.
